It’s not all roses with the Sun Joe SPX3000. We appreciated this flexibility when moving between different jobs. You can choose to mix the two soaps or dial only one soap in at a time. 9 liters each and a dial that lets you adjust the amount coming from each reservoir. Unlike most pressure washers that have a single cleaning tank, the Sun Joe has two detergent reservoirs that hold. You also have to move the hose out of the way-otherwise, you’ll spend more time untangling the hose from the wheels then you will pressure-washing.Īnother stellar design choice was the dual cleaning tanks. Thankfully, the pressure washer is lightweight and easy to lift. If you hit bumps or dips, you may have to lift the Sun Joe over the obstacles. The wheels are made of plastic, so they are not as rugged as the wheels on competitor models from companies like SIMPSON. They move effortlessly over grass, pavement, and similarly smooth surfaces. When you need to move to a new location, the oversized wheels make it easy. The wand stores securely on the unit, but there is no good place to store the hose. Our biggest gripe is the unit’s onboard hose storage. The handle and wand extend 30 inches, so be prepared to bend over when you are power-washing a driveway or something else on the ground. The wand is lightweight, and the pressure is not so strong that you lose control over it. You simply press the trigger on the handle and point it where you want to clean. Operating the Sun Joe power washer was so easy that even my teens and tweens could do it. If you have any problems with leaks, you can replace the hose adapter for just a few bucks. When connecting a garden hose to the power washer, Sun Joe wisely uses a replaceable metal garden hose adapter. All nozzles are easy to attach and remove thanks to the quick-connect at the end of the wand. Unlike most washers that have four nozzles, the SPX3000 ships with five: a powerful 0-degree nozzle, two mid-range 15-degree and 25-degree nozzles, a gentle 40-degree option, and a soap nozzle. Sun Joe doesn’t cut corners when it comes to the nozzles it includes with the SPX3000. The Spruce / Kelly Hodgkins Design: Some good, some bad choices The Spruce Home Improvement Review Board.
